MISSION STATEMENT
The Steele County Sheriff’s Office is dedicated to protect and serve the citizen’s of Steele County and support their quality of life. We coordinate the efforts of the emergency and support services to provide the highest level of responsiveness possible. We hold ourselves accountable for our actions and take pride in a professional level of service and fairness to all.
As adopted by the Steele County Board of Commissioners on September 27, 2005

POLICY/PROCEDURE MANUAL
The Steele County Sheriff’s Office is governed not only by state statutes, but also by our own policy/procedure manual. Some of these policies/procedures are mandated by MN Peace Officer Standards and Training, the remaining compilation ensures a uniform handling of various situations.
