Recording Your Notary Commission

 To notarize in Steele County, you must first apply for a notary with the Minnesota Secretary of State, and then file your commission in the County which you reside. 

To file your Notary Commission at our office, you MUST BE a Steele County Resident and have received your Commission statement from the Minnesota Secretary of State.

How to File
  • Bring in your Commission statement from the Secretary of State.
  • Show a valid form of identification.
  • Pay recording fee of $20.
