A marriage license purchased in Minnesota only allows you to be married in the State of Minnesota. Your marriage license is valid for six (6) months.

Bring the following items with you:
- Identification such as a driver's license or state ID
- Certificate of Pre-marital Education (if applying for reduced fee license)
The marriage license fee for parties who have completed at least 12 hours of premarital education is $50.00. The fee for the license is $125.00 if you have not met the premarital education requirements.
