Responsibilities

The Human Resources Department provides comprehensive services to over 300 full and part-time employees in Steele County.  The Department includes 3 staff, including a Director, HR Coordinator and an HR Generalist.  Our employees are our greatest asset.  Consider joining our team!

• Recruitment and selection of employees
• Labor relations
• Contract negotiations and grievance administration
• Classification and compensation systems
• Benefits and leave administration
• Development and administration of personnel policies and rules

• Worker's compensation and unemployment programs
