Absentee Voting: How do I...

In Minnesota, you can vote early with an absentee ballot.

Board Meetings: How Do I get on the Board Agenda?

Requests to be on the Board agenda go through the County Administrator’s Office. The office will work to determine the most effective method to address the Board. Requests to be included on the Board meeting agendas must be made no later than the Wednesday prior to the meeting. Specific requirements can be found on the Rules of Order. The Board meeting has an opportunity for the public to address the Board during a “Public Comment” time. Public Comment does not need to be arranged prior to that particular meeting, but the issue may be referred to staff and no action taken during Public Comment.

Child Support

Child support is the contribution that non-custodial parents make to ensure that their children have adequate care, living expenses and medical support. All of Minnesota’s 87 counties provide child support services, regardless of families’ socioeconomic status.
