Family Home Visiting is a free, voluntary program that offers one-on-one support for families during pregnancy and throughout the early years of parenting. Our goal is to help caregivers build strong, healthy bonds with their children. We can begin working with families any time before birth through age 3, with some programs having the ability to continue up to age 5 if needed.
Many families start with weekly visits; the schedule is based on your needs. Visits can take place where you feel most comfortable—your home, our office, a park, or another community space.
During visits, we provide support and education about health and safety, child development, and early communication. We also complete helpful screenings related to your child’s development, social–emotional health, and maternal mental health. Our team can assist with connecting you to local resources and services early on, helping your family feel supported every step of the way.
